Meet Pauline.

HEY THERE,

I’m Pauline Holden (she/her), a photographer who’s passionate about telling your story authentically and creating dreamy, romantic portraits.

It means the world that you connect with my work and are wanting to hear more about how we can work together.

I can’t wait to hear more about you, but in the meantime here’s a little about me…

Based on the Sunshine Coast BC (#notanisland), but originally from Toronto, I’ve lived in my tiny seaside town since 2015. Only about a 40 min ferry ride from Vancouver, I work anywhere photography takes me - Vancouver included - but also places all over BC or all the way out in Toronto and Montreal.

When I’m not working with my amazing clients or hanging out at my favourite place in Gibsons - the kube studios, you can find me walking by the ocean with my toddler, listening to a podcast (Glennon Doyle’s We Can Do Hard Things is my fave), or scouring the thrift store to find my next piece of nursery decor & toys for my online shop, Still Little Life.

Some Random Facts:

  • I’ve been taking photos since I was 13

  • I could possibly eat sushi everyday for the rest of my life and not get tired of it

  • I’m obsessed with interior design and architecture

  • I speak English and Spanish

  • We welcomed our baby girl into the world late 2022

  • Thrilled to hear about YOU

OK, so here’s the real stuff you care about…

I value who you are; as a person, as an entrepreneur, as someone who’s been on a journey to find out what’s really important to you.

I truly believe that my job is to bring out the best in you. I’m not here to change you, I don’t have any expectations for you to show up as anything but yourself. In fact - I want you to show up EXACTLY as yourself.

I do my best to put you at ease before, during, and after our session. Getting comfortable with me as your photographer comes with just starting the process. I walk you through everything, from outfit choices, to location ideas, to figuring out the story we want to create through photography.

I like to take myself out of the equation as much as possible, and really think about who you are and how I can bring out the best in you.
