My process.

  • 1.

My goal is to make sure I'm the perfect fit for you, so the first step is getting to know your photography needs and chatting about how I can help you.

  • 2.

Once I understand your needs, we start the booking process by choosing a date, signing a contract, and paying a 50% retainer of the final invoice.

  • 3.

I send you an in-depth questionnaire for you to fill out and we will book another time for our planning session on the phone or via Zoom.

  • 4.

When that time comes, we plan and go through details of our session. I come to you with ideas based on your questionnaire, and we collaborate on a plan for our day. At this time I start creating an inspiration Pinterest board and make suggestions on how to prepare for the shoot.

  • 5.

I’m available every part of the way leading up to the session, and love to give my input on any last minute questions you may have.

  • 6.

My clients tell me I have a very calming energy, and I try to take the pressure off of the day as I know it can sometimes feel daunting and vulnerable.

  • 7.

I’m very much a “go with the flow” kind of person, but have no problem setting structure so as to make the most of our time together.

  • 8.

I love having music on to lighten the mood or having a friend around to make you laugh if that’s what makes you comfortable.

  • 9.

This session is all about YOU and I want to do my best to make sure you’re feeling super grounded and like your best self.

  • 10.

I walk you through the whole shoot, letting you do your thing while also making small posing tweaks and finding the most flattering angles.

  • 11.

I’m all about collaboration with my client. I check in with you throughout the session to make sure everything’s feeling authentic to you, including even after the session when I send you the initial previews. I take into consideration what style you're looking for, and will collaborate with you to make sure you absolutely LOVE your photos.

  • 12.

Your final edited photos should be ready approximately one month after the session, depending on current season workload.
